Students utilize computers to take notes but are encouraged to try a variety of techniques and choose what works best for them. Regents formats of thematic essays and document-based essays are taken into account, but the skills of providing evidence and analysis are the main focus. Quizzes and tests are based on Regents questions with either altered answer choices and language to meet the readiness of the students or actual Regents questions.
